We will ask you and the new joint tenant(s) to complete a deed and license to assign agreement.<br><br> If one joint tenant dies, the tenancy will be passed on to the other joint tenant.<br><br> If your relationship breaks down, a joint tenant can only be removed from your tenancy if:<br><br> • We and all tenants named on your tenancy agree to the change<br> • A court orders the change<br><br> It is important to let us know if a joint tenant leaves your property because:<br><br> • They are still responsible for all the tenancy conditions while their name is on the tenancy agreement<br> • They could end your tenancy by giving us one month’s notice in writing.<br> • If they end the tenancy, you will have no right to live in the property<br><br> Please send us a message if you wish to make changes to your tenancy.</div> </div> </div> <hr> <div class=panel-heading id=headingThree role=tab> <a aria-expanded=true aria-controls=collapseThree href="#collapseThree" data-toggle=collapse data-parent="#accordion"> <i class="accordion_icon fa fa-plus"></i> <div class=article-section-header>What are my rights as a tenant?</div> </a> </div> <div class="panel-collapse collapse" id=collapseThree role=tabpanel aria-labelledby=headingThree> <div class=panel-body> <div class=article-text>Your rights as a Platform tenant are shown in your tenancy agreement. It will be either four weeks’ ending on a Monday or one calendar month.<br><br> You can give us notice via Your Platform on the Property tab: under "Further Actions" there is a "Give notice" option. To apply:<br><br> • Refer yourself<br> You can apply to Platform Housing Group for tenancy support by completing the online tenancy support self referral form or by calling us on 0333 200 7304.<br><br> • Ask someone to refer you<br> Alternatively you can be referred by a friend, a relative, your Neighbourhood/Rent Officer or by someone from another organisation. They can refer you by completing the online tenancy support referral form or by calling us on 0333 200 7304. They must have your permission to refer you.<br><br> When we receive your application a Tenancy Support Office will contact you to discuss your needs and arrange a convenient appointment to meet you.
